What is the point of the Veazy?
The Storz & Bickel Veazy is the latest entry in S&B’s line-up of portable, battery powered dry herb vaporizers. It continues their long standing tradition of bold design aesthetics mixed with practical choices and their legendary performance.
At first glance, the Veazy looks like a smaller version of their flagship vaporizer “The Venty”, but with more “fun” and color thrown into the mix. My first thought when I got this device was “did I just get a venty for almost half the price?!?!”. Short answer, no, it’s not a cheaper version of the venty. While they both share the same design language and shape, the veazy is its own thing and I think that’s a good thing. Let me explain.
The Veazy seems to be positioned as an entry point into the Storz & Bickel brand sitting at an MSRP of $250, their most budget friendly offering so far. In short, the Veazy isn’t here to dethrone the Mighty+ or the Venty, it’s here to welcome new users into the S&B world.
Design & Build
I love that Storz & Bickel have added some new and fun colorways to this product. While the black and orange is iconic, they seem to have added a lot more fun with this offering and that’s a very welcome sight. It comes in black, blue, orange, and pink. I think nearly every vaporizer I own is some shade of black or dark grey except for the POTV Lobo so the ability to choose a fun color is really great.
As stated above, the Storz & Bickel Veazy looks like a miniature version of the Venty without the screen and direct temperature controls on board.
The Veazy is made out of PEEK plastic, a medical grade plastic, just like all of the other portable vaporizers in S&B’s lineup. It’s got the same “ribbed” design on the outside of the heating chamber that assists with dissipating heat and it adds a little grip too.
They have also opted to keep their signature “straw” for inhaling all your herby goodness. This mouthpiece is smaller than the Venty, but still wide enough to get a decent draw out of. Draw resistance is pretty solid, while it’s a tiny bit more restrictive than the Mighty+ it’s hardly noticeable when I use them side by side. So overall I’d say if this is your first S&B device, you’ll be very pleased while drawing on it.
Performance and First Use

After unboxing my Veazy vaporizer, charging it fully, and doing a few cycles of burn-offs, I was excited to load this bad boy up with some of my favorite herbs. Loading the chamber was pretty smooth and easy with only minimal spillage. Luckily, they provide you with a little brush if anything falls out of the chamber while loading.
Note: I definitely recommend purchasing some sort of loading tool like this for your dry herb vaporizers. Makes life much easier. Or choose a grinder like this with a cone at the end.
Vapor Quality/Temperature Settings
After I got my chamber filled I hit the button and let it heat up. The default starting temperature on the Veazy is 356F or 180C. This is normally about ten or so degrees lower than I typically start my sessions on but I decided to give it a go anyway. I’m sure S&B picked this temperature to give the best flavor, but ultimately, this temp is just a tad too low. I got a really nice amount of flavor, but very light and barely visible vapor. I used this for a few minutes and then double clicked the button to move to the boost mode. From there, I got a few good pulls with decent vapor and then my herb ran out. Once the herb stopped producing vapor at the boost temperature, I double clicked the power button again and went into super boost. This gave me one puff of thicker vapor before the herb was completely cashed out.
After my first bowl, it was clear that the starting temperature was too low. I do want to say, however, that when I de-bowled the Veazy, the herb was evenly toasted and a solid brown color. With the starting temperature being too low, I connected via the web app and set my starting temperature to 365F or 185C. This was, to me, the sweet spot I was missing. Instantly the herb started giving off visible and flavorful vapor. After that I raised the first boost mode temp by ten degrees and set the super boost at its maximum temperature. This, for me, made all the difference in the world in performance.
So if you are using this device, and you’re not getting the vapor you want, just bump the temperature up a bit more and you’ll be surprised at the results.

Heat-Up Time
The Veazy heats up anywhere between 35-45 seconds from a cold start depending on your temperature settings. At 356 it was around 35-37 seconds and at 365 it was about 45 seconds to reach full temperature.
This is shorter than my Mighty+ and my Crafty+. One tip I have for use, is to wait a few more seconds (I like to wait about ten seconds) to allow the bowl to heat soak a bit more before my first pull. Since it’s about 20-25 seconds faster to come to temperature, it gives the herb a little less time to warm up and start releasing its goodness. But you do you, just my personal tip…see if it works for you!
Battery Life
For a vaporizer of this size, you get decent battery life. I was able to get on about 7 bowls on average with both boost modes per charge. For a vaporizer this size, I think that is very solid battery performance.
The Veazy is equipped with usb-c charging and I found it took about 35 minutes to reach 80% charge and it took a little over an hour to reach 100% charge.
It comes with an integrated battery which means that there is no removable battery. Another feature you can utilize is the battery-saving mode which will keep your battery from reaching 100% charge, therefore extending the overall life of your battery. You can enable or disable this via the web app so if you want to go out for a day, you can turn it off and set your Veazy to reach 100% charge, or if you’re using it at home, you can set it to ECO mode which will help prolong your battery’s life.
Portability and Pocket-ability

This is Storz & Bickel’s most portable vaporizer in my opinion. I think it’s actually a tiny bit more portable than the Crafty+ given that it’s not as wide and deep (see the side by side comparison for more explanation). For me, it seems to fit in my pocket a tiny bit better than my crafty+. That’s not to say that the Crafty+ is massive by any stretch, just that I think this would fit better in my opinion. Your mileage may vary though.
This device fits great in Jean pockets, short pockets and small bags without taking up too much room. If I’m going out for the day and I don’t have a lot of space, this would be a device I would reach for first. In fact, I took this out to my favorite nature trail and had a great session with it by a lake and it was a really nice experience. I didn’t feel like I was lugging a device around and forgot about it being in my pocket until I got to my favorite park bench.
Who it’s for
The Veazy is, in my opinion, the best entry point for someone who wants a Storz and bickel device without a huge price tag. It’s a killer entry point and one that I would recommend for the first time buyer, or the first real upgrade from a cheap device. Also, the Veazy is a great device for something on the go. So if you like to go to festivals, or concerts, or just love to enjoy your herb on the go and are looking for a portable device with good performance, then the Veazy is probably for you.
Who the Veazy isn’t for
I would not recommend the Veazy to anyone who already owns an upper tier S&B device unless they really need a pocketable vaporizer. If you already have a Venty or Mighty+, you won’t see any real advantage of purchasing the Veazy. I’m not saying the Veazy isn’t really good, it’s just that those devices are so upper crust that this would most likely feel like a bit of a downgrade.
Final Verdict
The Veazy is a compelling gateway device into the Storz & Bickel ecosystem. It performs really well (once you get it dialed in) and is a smart, reliable and portable device with a lot of solid features. It’s their cheapest device at a current MSRP of $250 USD. You can get other devices at this price point for sure, but the Veazy does deliver Storz & Bickel’s hybrid heating and solid flavor profiles mixed with high tech features like a web app. It’s a solid little device once you dial it in and a great entry point into the S&B world!

Q: What is the Veazy vaporizer?
The Veazy is Storz & Bickel’s most affordable portable dry herb vaporizer, priced at $250. It’s designed as an entry point into the S&B lineup, offering hybrid heating, customizable temps via the web app, and a compact, colorful design.
What material is the Veazy made from?
The Veazy is built with medical‑grade PEEK plastic, the same high‑temperature, durable material used in S&B’s higher‑end devices like the Mighty+ and Venty. The filling chamber is ceramic‑coated for clean flavor.
What are the default temperature settings?
Out of the box, the Veazy starts at 356°F (180°C). A double‑click activates Boost mode (+15°C) and another double‑click activates Super Boost (+30°C total). Through the web app, you can set custom temps between 104°F–410°F (40°C–210°C).
How long does the Veazy take to heat up?
The Veazy heats up in about 35–45 seconds, depending on your chosen temperature. It’s faster than the Mighty+ and Crafty+, though waiting an extra 10 seconds for heat soak can improve vapor density.
How is the vapor quality?
At the default temp, vapor is flavorful but light. Bumping the base temp to 365°F (185°C) produces thicker, more satisfying vapor while still preserving flavor. The hybrid heating ensures even extraction and consistent results.
How long does the battery last?
Expect around 6-7 bowls per charge with Boost modes enabled. Charging via USB‑C takes about 35 minutes to 80% and just over an hour to 100%.
What is Battery Saving (ECO) Mode?
ECO mode caps charging at ~80% to extend long‑term battery health. It’s ideal for daily home use. You can disable it in the web app if you need a full 100% charge for travel or long sessions.
Is the battery removable?
No, the Veazy has an integrated lithium‑ion battery.
Who is the Veazy best for?
The Veazy is perfect for first‑time buyers or anyone upgrading from a budget vape. It’s also great for on‑the‑go use thanks to its slim, pocket‑friendly design.
Who should skip the Veazy?
If you already own a Mighty+ or Venty, the Veazy won’t feel like an upgrade. Those devices still outperform it in airflow, battery life, and advanced features.
