Review Summary

The Mighty+ is a former flagship portable vaporizer that delivers consistent performance combined with great battery life, and an intuitive user experience. While it’s not the absolute best in vapor quality, the Mighty+ is still in the upper tier of vaporizers. It produces smooth and flavorful draws and is suitable for longer sessions. The build quality of the Mighty+ is solid and durable, and though I wouldn’t recommend this for “on the go” vaping, it’s perfect for home use or throwing in your bag! The Mighty+ is a top tier vaporizer that I have recommended to many friends!

The Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel is a premium-tier dry herb vaporizer that delivers consistent, reliable performance with a simplicity that makes it a standout choice for anyone who prioritizes ease of use.

 

Right away, you can tell it’s built to last—the PEEK plastic construction feels solid, the buttons are intuitive, and the vapor quality sits comfortably in the upper echelon of portable vapes. It won’t beat the absolute best in pure flavor, but for what it offers in battery life, usability, and overall dependability, it’s an easy recommendation.

 

Pocket-ability? Depends on your setup. It’s not something I’d carry in my pocket (too big for that with my daily essentials), but for home use or tossing in a bag, it’s perfectly portable. If you need a device that’s simple, durable, and delivers excellent vapor without the hassle, the Mighty+ is absolutely worth considering.

 

This vaporizer is ideal for medical users, home users, and those who want a simple, premium vape that doesn’t require reading manuals and doesn’t have a lot of unnecessary bells and whistles. This vaporizer is also for heavy users who need very strong battery life and those who want a premium Storz & Bickel experience without shelling out the money for a Venty.

 

The Mighty+ sits at an interesting place now that Storz & Bickel have released their Venty vaporizer. The Mighty+ has an MSRP around $50 less than S&B’s flagship vaporizer, it can often be purchased for $50-100 lower than MSRP which gets you into the S&B ecosystem at a much more appealing price-point. But there are some strong competitors entering the market at around the same price point (or in some cases lower) with similar features and good, if not better, vapor flavor.

 

 

First Impressions and Build Quality

From the moment I unboxed the Mighty+, I could tell this thing was built with performance and durability in mind. The Mighty+ has a solid, weighty (but not too heavy) feel that instantly gives off a premium vibe—no flimsy plastic or cheap construction here. Storz & Bickel went with PEEK plastic for the Mighty+, which isn’t just tough but has a refined finish that feels both smooth and durable in the hand. The other thing I think that is important is that this isn’t just any run of the mill plastic. This type of thermoplastic is used in medical devices which makes me feel a lot better about using the Mighty+.

 

I also really appreciate the design choices they made. The buttons are intuitive, the grip feels ergonomic, and—oddly enough—the straw at the top has grown on me. It’s functional and makes the whole experience feel more natural. One note I would say is that Storz & Bickel have a very unique design language that some may find either endearing or off-putting. I personally appreciate the way these devices look and the language they use, but ultimately it’s a matter of personal preference!

 

As for durability, I’ve accidentally dropped mine on the floor a couple of times (because, let’s be real, it happens), and so far—no cracks, no issues. It holds up incredibly well, which is reassuring, especially considering the price.

 

Pocketable? Not really with the Mighty+. I’ve got my phone, wallet, keys, and AirPods, so adding the Mighty+ to my pocket isn’t happening. But for portable home use or tossing it in a bag, the Mighty+ is a really great size. If you’re someone who carries a gym bag, purse, or backpack, you won’t have any issues bringing the Mighty+ with you.

 

In short: premium build, intuitive design, tough, but not very “pocketable” in my opinion.

 

Ease of Use & Interface

Ok, maybe I’m just getting old and lame, but I very much appreciate the simple and intuitive interface of the Mighty+. I like that of the three buttons it has, they each have mainly a singular purpose with secondary purposes if you need more options. If you don’t want to have to memorize how many button clicks it is to turn the Mighty+ on or adjust the temperature or do a session, this is a great option! The display shows your target temperature and your current temperature as well as battery life. The Mighty+ gives you everything you need without any UI overload. Simple and very effective.

 

 

Vapor Quality & Heating System

Now, let’s talk about terpene flavor retention with the Mighty+. The first 3-5 draws on this device deliver very good terp flavors, which makes for a really tasty experience. However, as the session progresses, the flavor of the Mighty+ naturally tapers off (which is normal).

 

I’ve found that my sweet spot for starting my sessions is around 375°F as it gives me a really good balance of vapor production and flavor with incremental 10 degree increases as the session continues. This also lengthens the session as you go which is nice. My sessions usually end with the Mighty+ in the mid-low 400s by the time my herb is spent. I haven’t tested it by starting at the upper limits of the temp so your mileage may vary and you may run into thermal limits.

 

When it comes to vapor quality, the Mighty+ sits comfortably in the upper tier—but it’s not quite best in class. That said, it delivers consistently smooth and flavorful draws, thanks to its hybrid heating system (convection/conduction). The even extraction throughout the bowl is a standout feature, ensuring that every session is efficient and well-roasted.

 

Battery Life & Charging

When you pay this much money for a device, the battery has to be really, really good; and the Mighty+ delivers. S&B advertises 8-12 sessions and I have found that to be pretty accurate even after nearly two years of nightly use.

 

Charging this device is solid with USB-C and the ability to supercharge it up to 80% in about 40mins. I have also found this claim to be pretty accurate in my use!

 

In my time using this device, I have found that I need to charge it roughly every 1-2 weeks but your results will vary depending on your amount of usage and temperature you use it at.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Cleaning frequency is another metric that is dependent on your level of usage but I have found that the device runs best if I clean it once every 2-3 weeks. But again, your mileage will definitely vary.

 

Cleaning the Mighty+ is fairly straightforward as you need to clean the oven with a q-tip and ISO-propyl alcohol and the cooling unit as well. The cooling unit splits into two parts- an upper (the part with the straw) and the lower.

 

I have found that this part of the device (the cooling unit) collects the most honey and a few people on reddit have found ingenious ways to make use of this honey in edibles. Once the cooling unit is split into two parts, it just needs a soak in ISO-propyl alcohol then a good scrubbing with q-tips.

 

Once you feel you’ve sufficiently cleaned the cooling unit some warm water works best to wash away the ISO. One warning for you on cleaning though; if you fail to fully remove the honey out of the cooling unit, even after rinsing it, it can still have a very unpleasant ISO taste which can ruin the flavor of your herb as well as other potential unhealthy things. So be thorough in your cleaning and rinsing of the unit.

 

Draw Resistance & Overall Experience

The draw resistance on the Mighty+ is minimal even with a bowl that’s packed more than recommended. Slow and steady, longer draws give you a flavorful experience. You can certainly get strong clouds off of this thing if that’s what you’re aiming for, it just might take a few sessions to dial in the temperature and your draw technique.

 

The overall experience on this device is one of a solid performer. It’s not flashy with a ton of features but delivers a consistent and flavorful experience every single time you use it.

Features vs. Price: Is the Mighty+ Worth It?

Is the Mighty+ worth it in 2025? My answer is… it depends on you. If you’ve always wanted to enter the Storz & Bickel ecosystem but don’t want to shell out some extra money for a Venty or want a proven performer like the Mighty+, then yes, it’s worth it for you! If the name and history behind it don’t matter too much to you, there are other competitors that offer a similar (and some people would argue better) experience at lower or equal price-points. Ultimately, when you’re at this tier of vaporizer, you’re really purchasing based on your unique set of wants and needs and aesthetics with the Mighty+.
