Step by Step Guide for a Fresh, Clean,Vape.
The Mighty+ is my go-to vaporizer. I absolutely love it and use it a ton which means it gets dirty fast. Today I’ll show you how to clean the mighty+ (plus) vaporizer with a step by step guide to keep your vape fresh and performing at its best! As you’ll see below, I have neglected mine for about three weeks (big yikes) so it’s time for a good old scrub down. Buckle up and let’s dive in!

Step 1: Gather Your Cleaning Supplies

Before we jump into cleaning your Mighty+, grab these supplies!
- Your Mighty+ Vaporizer
- Isopropyl alcohol (90% or better)
- A small brush
- A glass or bowl (don’t use your grandma’s fine china for this…it could get gross)
- A handful of cotton swabs/Q-tips
- A paper towel or two
- Rubber gloves (optional)
Since my unit is overdue for a serious scrub, I’m expecting to use more than my usual 4 q-tips today. If yours looks anything like mine, grab some extras!
Step 2: Use Your Brush

Brush out as much debris as you can from your oven and the cooling unit of your Mighty+. Be as thorough as possible because the less AVB you have in your device, the easier it is to clean your Mighty+ (Plus) vaporizer!

Step 3: Remove the Mouthpiece
Remove the mouthpiece (or as I like to call it “the straw”). You will need to wiggle it a bit side to side in order for it to break free. Just gently move it and it will eventually come out. It’s built to be pulled out so don’t be afraid, you’re probably not going to break it!

Step 4: Unlock the Cooling Unit
Slid the cap-lock toward the mouth piece. Your first time unlocking it may be a little tougher than you think so don’t be afraid to pull it for real!

clean.

Step 5: Take the Cooling Unit Apart
Wiggle the top of the cooling unit off, separating it from the bottom part that is attached to the device.

Step 6: Remove the O-rings
Remove the O-rings from the bottom of the lower cooling unit and the middle as well. Use the included stirring tool to ensure you don’t damage the o-rings when you do this. Also, there is a small notch on the side of the unit (pictured below) where you can slide the stir tool in so that you can remove the blue o-ring. Note: DO NOT use any metal tools while doing this as you could damage or break your o-ring. A toothpick or anything plastic will work just fine.

Step 7: Remove Bottom of Cooling Unit
Remove the bottom part of the cooling unit to reveal the heating chamber (also called the oven) and place it and the top cooling unit piece and straw into your bowl and pour in some ISO and allow it to soak for 10-30 minutes.

Step 8: Clean the Oven/Heating Chamber
While those parts are soaking, use a q-tip dipped in ISO to clean the inside and outside of the heating chamber. Be careful not to drench the inside with ISO and it’s always a good rule of thumb to hold the device upside-down or at a sharp angle to protect any electronics from getting damaged. Pro-tip: if it’s dripping into the device, you’re probably using too much alcohol.

Step 9: Remove Screen (if necessary)
Depending on how dirty your unit is, you may need to pop the screen out of the bottom portion of the cooling unit. You can do this by using your stir tool to push the screen out gently. Be sure to try your best not to bend the screen too badly. Once you get one side out, you can pull it the rest of the way with your fingers. (As you can tell by the photos…mine was in desperate need of cleaning). Once it’s out, use a q-tip to wipe it all away (and don’t forget to get as deep into the unit as you can to get as much out as possible).

Side note: It’s important to get as much of the reclaim and other bits of weed out of your unit after the alcohol soak because the sticky reclaim will hold the ISO even after you rinse it. If that is still on there, your first couple of puffs could taste like isopropyl alcohol and you don’t want that in your lungs or ruining the taste of your herb.
Step 10: Re-Install Screen
Re-install the screen. Pay close attention to the notch on the inside of the unit. That is where your screen should go. Use the stirring tool in order to push the screen into the groove. You’ll feel it click when it goes into place. Be sure to go around the screen to make sure it’s all in place, and visually inspect for any overhangs or anything out of place.

Step 11: Scrub the Cooling Unit and Rinse Your Parts
Scrub the top and bottom of the cooling unit with a couple q-tips then rinse all of your parts that were soaked in ISO with warm water thoroughly. You want to wash away as much of the isopropyl alcohol as possible here. Be very thorough.

Step 12: Dry Your Parts and Re-install O-Rings
Dry your parts and re-install the o-rings on the mouthpiece and bottom part of the cooling unit. Be sure that the o-rings are in their respective grooves.

Step 13: Re-Assemble Mouthpiece
Push the mouthpiece back into position. Pro tip: I find that inserting the mouthpiece at an angle helps me to get it into the hole better.

Step 14: Re-Assemble Cooling Unit
Re-assemble the cooling unit. Be sure to push them together (they usually need a little coaxing to get together) and then slide the locking mechanism back into place. Pro tip: If you find the locking mechanism doesn’t seem to want to go back in place, just push the bottom of the unit into the top a little more and it’ll snap just right. Also visually inspect to see if an O-ring has popped out.

Step 15: Re-Install Cooling Unit and Do A Burn-Off
Lock the cooling unit back onto your mighty plus and set it to the highest temperature possible and do a few “burn offs”. I usually do about 3-4 full cycles to burn off any left over ISO.

That’s it! Now your Mighty+ is ready to go! Don’t be like me and be sure to keep yours cleaner than mine ;). I recommend cleaning these at least once every two weeks or more depending on how heavy you use it.
Now go enjoy all that sweet, sweet vapor!
